Whenever something hurts inside our bodies, we are quick to take care of it, getting medical attention, even going as far as surgery or medication in order to ease it.
When it comes to painful emotions though, it’s more difficult to treat them. We might not have the necessary self-awareness to even recognize that something is hurting inside, and if we do, might be lacking the tools how to actually heal it.
Fact is, emotional pain is just as much a disturbance to our organism as physical pain and needs just as much attention to heal.
I have made this Somatic Yoga Flow to help you ground yourself in your body and reconnect to your inner landscape. It is perfect for when you are feeling any kind of difficult, or painful emotion, like sadness, anger or frustration, or can be a wonderful way to touch base with yourself during challenging or stressful times.
