Somatic Yoga
Where movement meets self-awareness.
We know how important it is to take good care of ourselves.
But being creatures of a complex nature, it is not enough to just look at our physical bodies, and go through the motions of exercise regimes and diets.
We need to take care of ourselves on a wholistic, somatic level.
Our soma, a collection of our body and everything it shelters, our emotions, our inherent believes, our reaction patterns, and also our insticts and intuition, is here for us to carry us through our lives, and hold us in times of upheavel and transition.
Our body is here for us. But are we also here for it?
Somatic Yoga is the language we learn to hear ourselves.
It is the safe space where we can tune up our internal speakers in order to communicate with our sensitive inner guidance. It is the pathway to inner strength and self-compassion, and teaches you to listen to what your body has to tell you.
In Somatic Yoga sessions we move slowly, and enter a dance of initiating and feeling, of activation and rest. We learn how to hear ourselves, feel our body, and respond to its needs with patience and care.
In this section of my blog, you find educational posts about Nervous System regulation, transformative breathwork, guided Yoga practices, and inspiration on how to integrate mindful movement in your daily life.
You will find these contributions particularly helpful when you are in phases of stress and dysregulation, of transition, and during big life changes. Somatic Yoga is a way of deepening the connection with yourself and finding safety in your own body.
I am here to bring my experience as a Yoga teacher and Somatic Coach to you in the most simple way possible.
